Joe Prillmayer
Joe Prillmayer is a visionary leader, strategist, and executive coach with more than 25 years of experience transforming organizations through operational excellence, leadership development, and strategic innovation. As the Founder and CEO of QuotaPro Leadership, Joe developed the North Star Leadership Methodology™, a hands-on, outcome-driven framework designed to reduce attrition, elevate culture, and build resilient leadership pipelines.
Joe’s leadership philosophy was forged through decades of experience across some of the most complex and dynamic healthcare environments in the U.S. and abroad. His journey began in the medical device industry, where he quickly rose through the ranks at 3M and Nellcor/Puritan Bennett. These formative years instilled in him the importance of leading from the front, mastering product knowledge, and building trust through action—principles that would later become foundational to the North Star Leadership Methodology™.
As Managing Partner at Healthcare Capital Analytics, Joe led population health initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. His work with the Evansville YMCA and OSU Health demonstrated how leadership aligned with community impact can drive sustainable growth and long-term value.
At ERDMAN, Joe served as Director of Corporate Development, guiding hospital startups and facility strategy. His role emphasized the importance of aligning leadership with long-term strategic planning and capital investment, reinforcing the need for leaders to think beyond the immediate and toward enduring organizational success.
Joe’s tenure at Intalere marked a pivotal chapter in his leadership evolution. As Vice President of Strategic Sales, he led a national team across seven regions, closing multimillion-dollar enterprise software deals. His player-coach model—balancing strategic oversight with hands-on engagement—highlighted the power of empathy, accountability, and performance, all of which became central to the North Star framework.
At GHX / Lumere, Joe continued to refine his approach, selling SaaS solutions that integrated clinical evidence, spend analytics, and decision enablement. His success in this role reinforced the importance of data-driven leadership and strategic foresight, especially in high-stakes, complex environments.
Joe’s commitment to leadership extends far beyond the boardroom. As an Adjunct Professor at Brown Mackie College, he brought his philosophy into the classroom, teaching upper-level courses in Business Strategy and Finance. But Joe’s approach was anything but conventional. Inspired by the spirit of Dead Poets Society, he challenged students to think beyond textbooks and embrace the entrepreneurial mindset. His whiteboard sessions—dynamic, interactive, and deeply personal—became a signature experience for students, blending inspiration with practical application. These sessions weren’t just lessons in business theory; they were immersive explorations of vision, confidence, and real-world problem-solving. They also became a foundational element of the North Star Leadership Methodology™, reinforcing Joe’s belief that leadership is best learned through experience and reflection.
That same belief in mentorship and experiential learning led to a unique opportunity. Ray Braun, one of Joe’s mentors and former CEO at ERDMAN and now Dean of the Business School at Bowling Green State University, reached out with a personal request. He asked Joe to coach a young undergraduate competing in The Hatch—the university’s entrepreneurial showcase modeled after the award-winning television series Shark Tank.
For Joe, the invitation reflected his reputation as an inspiring leader. Through this experience, Joe helped shape the entrepreneurial journey of a rising student, reinforcing his conviction that leadership is not just taught—it’s lived, shared, and passed forward.
Through each chapter of his career, Joe has remained committed to empowering leaders to lead with clarity, courage, and purpose. QuotaPro Leadership is the culmination of this journey—a firm built not just on theory, but on lived experience, measurable outcomes, and a relentless drive to help organizations Establish Their North Star™.
